Wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone that came out to last month's Rock House, it was such an incredible night! We had the best turn out we've ever had, even with the last minute move to the Westhill Hall... and the bands were SO GOOD. We're currently sorting out the line-up for our summer gig at GDS (The Green Door Store) and it looks like it's going to be just as brilliant. Exciting times.
So on to next week... we have the Rock House at the Westhill on Tuesday the 19th May. We will be having a little party to mark something very special... As you should all know by now, Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät (or PKN for short!) have made it through to the Eurovision song contest. This is a big deal for us as Constant Flux organised their first ever UK Tour back in 2013 with Rock House favourites Zombie Crash, released their album, "Coffee Not Tea" in the UK and helped out with their second UK tour in December 2014. We basically love PKN, think their music is amazing but also they are helping promote the amazing things that musicians with learning disabilities are achieving worldwide... Also, they're the first ever punk band at Eurovision!
To celebrate all this we're having a load of amazing bands play AND we're going to be streaming PKN's performance in their heats live (and watch them definitely get through!) so you don't need to worry about missing it. We're having...
Sabien Gator
The Hit Party Crashers
The Rock House Band
Beat Express
Richard Rock 'n' Roll
+ PKN @ Eurovision streamed live!
